Lewis LV4 4 Piston Hydraulic Bicycle Disc Brake Kit

Lewis took everything riders loved about the minimalist LV2 and turned it up with the LV4, a lightweight 4-piston hydraulic brake that brings serious stopping power to trail, enduro, and e-MTB riders without the premium price tag. Designed around a CNC-machined 7075-T6 aluminum caliper and lever assembly, the LV4 delivers rock-solid feel, smooth modulation, and heat-resistant performance when the terrain gets steep and fast.

The LV4 lever carries the same clean, compact profile as its 2-piston sibling but adds four sealed bearings, tool-free reach adjustment, and bite point tuning, giving riders the ability to fine-tune their brake feel without tools. The 4-piston caliper runs a dual-diameter setup (14mm & 17mm), improving brake balance and pad wear. Stainless pistons and high-temp TP-37 metallic pads keep power consistent on long descents—even under heavy load.

Built for modern trail bikes, enduro rigs, and aggressive e-MTBs, the LV4 system offers a stiffness-to-weight ratio rarely seen at this price point. The caliper features post-mount construction and ships with pre-bled mineral oil hoses for easy installation. If you want power, modulation, and reliability without overpaying, the LV4 is the move.

These brakes are sold in the Right/Rear and Left/Front configuration. You can swap the brake lines if you’d like to swap the configuration to Right/Front and Left/Rear.
