That is less than half the weight of many stock calipers.

But the SLR isn't just a "weight weenie" showpiece; it is a serious performance upgrade. It utilizes Dual 21mm Titanium Pistons (significantly larger than standard 19mm road pistons) to deliver stronger, more consistent braking power. Additionally, Lewis has engineered a generous 0.3mm pad clearance per side, solving the common headache of rotor rub and "zinging" sounds often found on aero road bikes.
