The new Lewis AE caliper is a one-piece CNC design & is engineered from aerospace-grade 7075 aluminum and precision CNC machined. The AE brakes give you rock-solid lever feel and uncompromising modulation when you need it most—whether you’re railing berms, charging rock gardens, or pointing downhill at full tilt.

The AE brake lever features a completely new feel tuning, providing a firmer and more substantial sensation compared to the LH series – ideal for riders who demand higher feedback force at the lever (Think Shimano vs SRAM, AE being more like Shimano). The Lewis AE uses the latest integrated CNC caliper for enhanced rigidity, longer maintenance intervals, and extended service life.

Building on the proven LH platform, the AE’s asymmetric piston layout (2 × 14 mm + 2 × 17 mm) delivers an even pad wear pattern and a perfectly linear lever pull—so you can dial in your bite point just where you like it. An updated master cylinder design pumps through braided hoses for crisp engagement and minimal lever flex. Inside the lever, up to four sealed bushings ensure silky-smooth lever operation mile after mile.

These brakes are sold in the Right/Rear and Left/Front configuration. You can swap the brake lines if you'd like to swap the configuration to Right/Front and Left/Rear.
